Her Excellency the Governor General in Council, on the recommendation of the Minister of Labour, hereby:

 

(a)       pursuant to paragraph 9(2)(a) and subsection 10(1) of the Canada Labour Code, appoints Elizabeth MacPherson of Ottawa, Ontario, to be Chairperson of the Canada Industrial Relations Board, to hold office during good behaviour for a term of five years;

 

(b)       pursuant to section 12.04 of the Canada Labour Code, fixes her remuneration and other employment conditions as set out in the schedule hereto, which remuneration is within the range GCQ 8 ($204,300 ‑ $240,400); and  

 

(c)        pursuant to section 117 of the Canada Labour Code, orders that Elizabeth MacPherson be deemed to be employed in the Public Service for the purposes of the Public Service Superannuation Act; 

 

effective January 1, 2008.

 

 

Sur recommandation du ministre du Travail, Son Excellence la Gouverneure générale en conseil :

 

a)              en vertu de l’alinéa 9(2)a) et du paragraphe 10(1) du Code canadien du travail, nomme Elizabeth MacPherson, d’Ottawa (Ontario), président du Conseil canadien des relations industrielles, à titre inamovible pour un mandat de cinq ans;

 

b)   en vertu de l’article 12.04 du Code canadien du travail, fixe sa rémunération et autres conditions d’emploi conformément à l’annexe ci‑jointe, laquelle rémunération se situe dans l’échelle GCQ 8 (204 300 $ - 240 400 $);

 

c)              en vertu de l’article 117 du Code canadien du travail, ordonne que Elizabeth MacPherson soit réputée faire partie de la fonction publique pour l’application de la Loi sur la pension de la fonction publique;

 

à compter du 1^er janvier 2008.
