                     Whereas article 44(b) of the Articles of Association of Edmonton Northlands provides for the designation by the Government of Canada of two persons as Directors of the Company known as Edmonton Northlands;

                     Therefore, Her Excellency the Governor General in Council, on the recommendation of the Minister of Industry, hereby

designates Howard L. Starkman, Q.C., of Edmonton, Alberta, as a Director of Edmonton Northlands to hold office during pleasure for a term of three years.

                     Attendu que l’article 44(b) des Articles of Association of Edmonton Northlands prévoit que le gouvernement du Canada peut désigner deux personnes à titre d’administrateurs de la société Edmonton Northlands,

                     À ces causes, sur recommandation du ministre de l’Industrie, Son Excellence la Gouverneure générale en conseil désigne Howard L. Starkman, c.r., d’Edmonton (Alberta), administrateur de la société Edmonton Northlands, à titre amovible, pour un mandat de trois ans.
