Her Excellency the Governor General in Council, on the recommendation of the Prime Minister, pursuant to paragraph 127.1(1)(c) of the Public Service Employment Act, hereby appoints to the position of special adviser to the Prime Minister, the Honourable Jake Epp, of Calgary, Alberta, as a Member of the Independent Panel on Canada’s Future Role in Afghanistan, to hold office during pleasure for a term ending March 31, 2008, and fixes his remuneration and other employment conditions as set out in the annexed schedule, which per diem rate is within the range ($850 - $1,000).

Sur recommandation du premier ministre et en vertu de l’alinéa 127.1(1)c) de la Loi sur l’emploi dans la fonction publique, Son Excellence la Gouverneure générale en conseil nomme au poste de conseiller spécial du premier ministre, l’honorable Jake Epp, de Calgary (Alberta), à titre de membre du Panel indépendant sur le rôle futur du Canada en Afghanistan, à titre amovible, pour un mandat se terminant le 31 mars 2008 et fixe la rémunération et autres conditions d’emploi conformément à l’annexe ci-jointe, dont le taux journalier se situe dans l’échelle (850 $ - 1 000 $).
