The Committee of the Privy Council, on the recommendation of the Prime Minister, advise that a commission under the Great Seal of Canada do issue empowering Mary Pichette, of the City of Stittsville, in the Province of Ontario, to administer, to any person who holds or who may hold any office, or who may be appointed to discharge any duty, on behalf of the Government of Canada, the Oath of Allegiance and the Oath of Office, or any other oath as may from time to time be prescribed by law, and to have that power during her tenure of office as Acting Assistant Clerk of the Queen’s Privy Council for Canada (Orders in Council), effective August 13, 2007.

Sur recommandation du premier ministre, le Comité du Conseil privé recommande que soit prise une commission, revêtue du grand sceau du Canada, habilitant Mary Pichette, de la ville de Stittsville (Ontario), à faire prêter, à toute personne qui occupe ou est autorisée à occuper une charge, ou qui peut être nommée pour exercer des fonctions, pour le compte du gouvernement du Canada, les serments d’allégeance et d’office ainsi que tout autre serment exigé par la loi, et à détenir ce pouvoir pendant la durée de son mandat à titre de greffière adjointe intérimaire du Conseil privé de la Reine pour le Canada (décrets du Conseil), à compter du 13 août 2007.
