Her Excellency the Governor General in Council, on the recommendation of the Minister of Fisheries and Oceans, pursuant to paragraph 33(1)(c) of the Parliament of Canada Act, hereby authorizes the trip made from May 1 to May 2, 2007, by Mr. Steven Blaney, Member of Parliament for the constituency of Lévis — Bellechasse, Quebec, to Mont‑Joli, Quebec, in order to represent the Minister as a guest speaker at the Maurice Lamontagne Institute and to announce, on the Minister’s behalf, an investment of $2 million in the Maurice Lamontagne Institute.

Sur recommandation du ministre des Pêches et des Océans et en vertu de l’alinéa 33(1)c) de la Loi sur le Parlement du Canada, Son Excellence la Gouverneure générale en conseil autorise le voyage effectué par Steven Blaney, député de la circonscription de Lévis — Bellechasse, au Québec, à Mont‑Joli (Québec), les 1^er et 2 mai 2007, afin de représenter le ministre comme conférencier invité à l’Institut Maurice‑Lamontagne et d’annoncer, en son nom, un investissement de 2 millions de dollars à l’Institut Maurice‑Lamontagne.
