Whereas, in the opinion of the President of the Canada Border Services Agency, domestic prices in the customs territory of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam are substantially determined by the government of that country and there is sufficient reason to believe that they are not substantially the same as they would be if they were determined in a competitive market;

 

Therefore, Her Excellency the Governor General in Council, on the recommendation of the Minister of Finance, pursuant to sections 20 and 97 of the Special Import Measures Act, hereby makes the annexed Regulations Amending the Special Import Measures Regulations.

Attendu que la République socialiste du Vietnam est un pays dont, de l’avis du président de l’Agence des services frontaliers du Canada, le gouvernement fixe, en majeure partie, les prix intérieurs sur son territoire douanier de sorte qu’il y a lieu de croire que ceux-ci seraient différents dans un marché où joue la concurrence,

 

À ces causes, sur recommandation du ministre des Finances et en vertu des articles 20 et 97 de la Loi sur les mesures spéciales d’importation, Son Excellence la Gouverneure générale en conseil prend le Règlement modifiant le Règlement sur les mesures spéciales d’importation, ci-après.
