Whereas the Honourable Linda Webber, a Judge of the Appeal Division of the Supreme Court of Prince Edward Island, has become afflicted with a permanent infirmity disabling her from the due execution of the office of judge and has tendered her resignation;

 

Therefore, Her Excellency the Governor General in Council, on the recommendation of the Minister of Justice, hereby

 

(a) accepts the resignation of the Honourable Linda Webber; and

 

(b) pursuant to paragraph 42(1)(c) of the Judges Act, grants to the Honourable Linda Webber an annuity of $168,000, to commence on the date of this Order in Council and to continue during her life.

Attendu que l'honorable Linda Webber, juge de la Division d’appel de la Cour suprême de l’Île-du-Prince-Édouard, a donné sa démission pour incapacité par suite d’une infirmité permanente,

 

À ces causes, sur recommandation du ministre de la Justice, Son Excellence la Gouverneure générale en conseil :

 

a) accepte la démission de l’honorable Linda Webber;

 

b) en vertu de l’alinéa 42(1)c) de la Loi sur les juges, accorde à l’honorable Linda Webber, à titre viager, une pension annuelle de 168 000 $, commençant à la date du présent décret.
