Her Excellency the Governor General in Council, on the recommendation of the Minister of Foreign Affairs, hereby authorizes the Minister of Foreign Affairs:

 

(a) to sign, on behalf of the Government of Canada, subject to ratification, the Agreement among the Government of Canada, the Government of the United Mexican States and the Government of the United States of America for Cooperation in Energy Science and Technology; or

 

(b) to execute and issue an Instrument of Full Powers authorizing the Honourable Gary Lunn, Minister of Natural Resources, or Catherine Doyle, Deputy Minister of Natural Resources, or Howard Brown, Assistant Deputy Minister, Energy Policy Sector, Department of Natural Resources, or Margaret McCuaig‑Johnston, Assistant Deputy Minister, Energy Technology and Programs Sector, to sign, on behalf of the Government of Canada, subject to ratification, the Agreement among the Government of Canada, the Government of the United Mexican States and the Government of the United States of America for Cooperation in Energy Science and Technology.

Sur recommandation du ministre des Affaires étrangères, Son Excellence la Gouverneure générale en conseil autorise celui‑ci :

 

a) soit à signer, au nom du gouvernement du Canada, sous réserve de ratification, l’Accord de coopération en science et technologie énergétiques entre le gouvernement du Canada, le gouvernement des États‑Unis du Mexique et le gouvernement des États‑Unis d’Amérique;

 

b) soit à signer et à délivrer un instrument de pleins pouvoirs autorisant l’honorable Gary Lunn, ministre des Ressources naturelles, ou Catherine Doyle, sous-ministre des Ressources naturelles, ou Howard Brown, sous-ministre adjoint, Secteur de la politique énergétique, ministère des Ressources naturelles, ou Margaret McCuaig‑Johnston, sous-ministre adjointe, Secteur de la technologie et des programmes énergétiques, à signer, au nom du gouvernement du Canada, sous réserve de ratification, l’Accord de coopération en science et technologie énergétiques entre le gouvernement du Canada, le gouvernement des États‑Unis du Mexique et le gouvernement des États‑Unis d’Amérique.
