Whereas the Honourable Tellex W. Gallant, a Justice of the Court of Queen’s Bench of Alberta, died on May 7, 2007, while holding such office;

 

Therefore, Her Excellency the Governor General in Council, on the recommendation of the Minister of Justice, pursuant to section 44 of the Judges Act, hereby grants an annuity of $84,000 to Alice Chapman, widow of the Honourable Tellex W. Gallant,  commencing on May 8, 2007 and continuing during her life.

Attendu que l’honorable Tellex W. Gallant est décédé le 7 mai 2007, alors qu’il occupait le poste de juge de la Cour du Banc de la Reine de l’Alberta,

 

À ces causes, sur recommandation du ministre de la Justice et en vertu de l’article 44 de la Loi sur les juges, Son Excellence la Gouverneure générale en conseil accorde une pension viagère de 84 000 $ à Alice Chapman, veuve de l’honorable Tellex W. Gallant, à compter du 8 mai 2007.
