Whereas The Greater Port Colborne Chamber of Commerce, in the Province of Ontario, the certificate of formation of which was recorded under the provisions of the Boards of Trade Act on May 12, 1930, has applied, pursuant to sections 39 and 4 of that Act, to change its name to Port Colborne-Wainfleet Chamber of Commerce and to change the boundaries of its district to Port Colborne and Wainfleet;

 

And whereas the Governor in Council is satisfied that the change of name is not desired for any improper purpose and is not otherwise objectionable;

 

Therefore, Her Excellency the Governor General in Council, on the recommendation of the Minister of Industry, hereby:

 

(a) pursuant to section 39 of the Boards of Trade Act, changes the name of The Greater Port Colborne Chamber of Commerce to Port Colborne-Wainfleet Chamber of Commerce; and

 

(b) pursuant to section 4 of the Boards of Trade Act, changes the boundaries of the district of The Greater Port Colborne Chamber of Commerce to Port Colborne and Wainfleet.

Attendu que The Greater Port Colborne Chamber of Commerce (Ontario), dont le certificat de constitution a été enregistré en vertu de la Loi sur les chambres de commerce le 12 mai 1930, a présenté une demande en vertu des articles 39 et 4 de cette loi pour que sa dénomination soit changée en celle de Port Colborne-Wainfleet Chamber of Commerce et que les limites de son district soient changées de façon à correspondre à Port Colborne et Wainfleet;

 

Attendu que la gouverneure en conseil est convaincue que le changement de dénomination n’est pas recherché dans un but irrégulier et n’est pas autrement susceptible d’objection,

 

À ces causes, sur recommandation du ministre de l’Industrie, Son Excellence la Gouverneure générale en conseil :

 

a) en vertu de l’article 39 de la Loi sur les chambres de commerce, change la dénomination de The Greater Port Colborne Chamber of Commerce en celle de Port Colborne-Wainfleet Chamber of Commerce;

 

b) en vertu de l’article 4 de la Loi sur les chambres de commerce, change les limites du district de The Greater Port Colborne Chamber of Commerce pour qu’elles correspondent à Port Colborne et Wainfleet.
