   Her Excellency the Governor General in Council, on the recommendation of the Minister of Transport, Infrastructure and Communities, pursuant to section 332 and subsection 334(1) of the Canada Shipping Act, 2001, assented to on November 1, 2001, being chapter 26 of the Statutes of Canada, 2001, hereby fixes July 1, 2007 as the day on which

(a) the Canada Shipping Act is repealed; and

(b) sections 1 to 270, subsections 271(1) and (3) and sections 272 to 318, 321 and 333 of the Canada Shipping Act, 2001 come into force.

   Sur recommandation du ministre des Transports, de l’Infrastructure et des Collectivités et en vertu de l’article 332 et du paragraphe 334(1) de la Loi de 2001 sur la marine marchande du Canada, sanctionnée le 1^er novembre 2001, chapitre 26 des Lois du Canada (2001), Son Excellence la Gouverneure générale en conseil fixe au 1^er juillet 2007 la date à laquelle :

a) la Loi sur la marine marchande du Canada est abrogé;

b) les articles 1 à 270, les paragraphes 271(1) et (3) et les articles 272 à 318, 321 et 333 de la Loi de 2001 sur la marine marchande du Canada entrent en vigueur.
