                 Whereas, pursuant to subsection 124(2) of the Competition Act, a copy of the proposed Regulations Amending the Notifiable Transactions Regulations, substantially in the form set out in the annexed Regulations, was published in the Canada Gazette, Part I, on August 17, 2002, and a reasonable opportunity was thereby given to interested persons to make representations to the Minister of Industry with respect to the proposed Regulations;

                 Therefore, Her Excellency the Governor General in Council, on the recommendation of the Minister of Industry, pursuant to subsection 124(1) of the Competition Act, hereby makes the annexed Regulations Amending the Notifiable Transactions Regulations.

                 Attendu que, conformément au paragraphe 124(2) de la Loi sur la concurrence, le projet de règlement intitulé Règlement modifiant le Règlement sur les transactions devant faire l’objet d’un avis, conforme en substance au texte ci-après, a été publié dans la Gazette du Canada Partie I le 17 août 2002 et que les intéressés ont ainsi eu la possibilité de présenter leurs observations à cet égard au ministre de l’Industrie,

                 À ces causes, sur recommandation du ministre de l’Industrie et en vertu du paragraphe 124(1) de la Loi sur la concurrence, Son Excellence la Gouverneure générale en conseil prend le Règlement modifiant le Règlement sur les transactions devant faire l’objet d’un avis, ci-après.
