Her Excellency the Governor General in Council, on the recommendation of the Minister of Transport, pursuant to sections 3 and 7 of the National Capital Act, hereby appoints Russell Andrew Mills of Ottawa, Ontario, to be Chairperson of the National Capital Commission to hold office during pleasure for a term of five years, and fixes his remuneration and other employment conditons as set out in the annexed schedule, which remuneration is comprised of a per diem within the range GRP 5 ($310 ‑ $375) and an annual retainer within the range ($8,000 ‑ $9,400). 

Sur recommandation du ministre des Transports et en vertu des articles 3 et 7 de la Loi sur la capitale nationale, Son Excellence la Gouverneure générale en conseil nomme Russell Andrew Mills, d’Ottawa (Ontario), président de la Commission de la capitale nationale, à titre amovible, pour un mandat de cinq ans, et fixe sa rémunération et autres conditions d’emploi conformément à l’annexe ci‑jointe, laquelle rémunération est composée d’un taux journalier dans l’échelle GRP 5 (310 $ ‑ 375 $) et d’honoraires annuels dans l’échelle (8 000 $ ‑ 9 400 $).
