Her Excellency the Governor General in Council, on the recommendation of the Minister of Canadian Heritage, pursuant to sections 36 and 43 of the Broadcasting Act, hereby appoints Timothy Wilson Casgrain of Toronto, Ontario, to be Chairperson of the Board of Directors of the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation to hold office during good behaviour for a term of five years, and fixes his remuneration as set out in the annexed schedule, which remuneration is comprised of a per diem within the range ($565 ‑ $665) and an annual retainer within the range ($14,500 ‑ $17,100).       

Sur recommandation de la ministre du Patrimoine canadien et en vertu des articles 36 et 43 de la Loi sur la radiodiffusion, Son Excellence la Gouverneure générale en conseil nomme Timothy Wilson Casgrain, de Toronto (Ontario), président du conseil d’administration de la Société Radio‑Canada, à titre inamovible, pour un mandat de cinq ans, et fixe sa rémunération conformément à l’annexe ci‑jointe, laquelle rémunération est composée d’un taux journalier dans l’échelle (565 $ ‑ 665 $) et d’honoraires annuels dans l’échelle (14 500 $ ‑ 17 100 $).
