Whereas Order in Council P.C. 1954‑662 of May 6, 1954 set apart certain lands as Fort McKay Indian Reserve No. 174, for the use and benefit of the Fort McKay Band of Indians;

 

And whereas a clerical error was made in the description of those lands;

 

Therefore, Her Excellency the Governor General in Council, on the recommendation of the Minister of Indian Affairs and Northern Development, hereby amends Order in Council P.C. 1954‑662 of May 6, 1954, by replacing the words “all that portion of the southwest quarter of Section 24” with the words “all that portion of the southeast quarter of Section 24”.

Attendu que le décret C.P. 1954‑662 du 6 mai 1954 met de côté certaines terres à titre de réserve indienne n^o 174 de Fort McKay, à l’usage et au profit de la bande indienne de Fort McKay;

 

Attendu qu’une erreur de rédaction s’est glissée dans la description de ces terres,

 

À ces causes, sur recommandation du ministre des Affaires indiennes et du Nord canadien, Son Excellence la Gouverneure générale en conseil modifie le décret C.P. 1954‑662 du 6 mai 1954 en remplaçant les mots « all that portion of the southwest quarter of Section 24 » par les mots « all that portion of the southeast quarter of Section 24 ».
