Whereas the Administrator of the Government of Ontario, the Honourable Roland Roy McMurtry, Chief Justice of Ontario, will be unable to act from April 5 to April 9, 2007, inclusive, from April 21 to April 25, 2007, inclusive, and on May 31, 2007, and it is therefore necessary that other persons be appointed Administrator for those periods;
Therefore, Her Excellency the Governor General in Council, on the recommendation of the Minister of Canadian Heritage, pursuant to section 67 of the Constitution Act, 1867, hereby
(a) terminates the appointment of the Honourable Roland Roy McMurtry
as Administrator of the Government of Ontario, effective April 5, 2007;
(b) appoints the Honourable Dennis R. O=Connor to be Administrator of the Government of Ontario, to execute the office and functions of the Lieutenant Governor of Ontario during the absence, illness or other inability of the Lieutenant Governor, effective April 5, 2007;
(c) terminates the appointment of the Honourable Dennis R. O=Connor as Administrator of the Government of Ontario, effective April 10, 2007;
(d) appoints the Honourable Roland Roy McMurtry to be Administrator of the Government of Ontario, to execute the office and functions of the Lieutenant Governor of Ontario during the absence, illness or other inability of the Lieutenant Governor, effective April 10, 2007;
(e) terminates the appointment of the Honourable Roland Roy McMurtry
as Administrator of the Government of Ontario, effective April 21, 2007;
(f) appoints the Honourable Dennis R. O=Connor to be Administrator of the Government of Ontario, to execute the office and functions of the Lieutenant Governor of Ontario during the absence, illness or other inability of the Lieutenant Governor, effective April 21, 2007;
(g) terminates the appointment of the Honourable Dennis R. O=Connor as Administrator of the Government of Ontario, effective March 26, 2007;
(h) appoints the Honourable Roland Roy McMurtry to be Administrator of the Government of Ontario, to execute the office and functions of the Lieutenant Governor of Ontario during the absence, illness or other inability of the Lieutenant Governor, effective April 26, 2007;
(i) terminates the appointment of the Honourable Roland Roy McMurtry as Administrator of the Government of Ontario, effective May 31, 2007;
(j) appoints the Honourable Heather Smith to be Administrator of the Government of Ontario, to execute the office and functions of the Lieutenant Governor of Ontario during the absence, illness or other inability of the Lieutenant Governor, effective May 31, 2007;
(k) terminates the appointment of the Honourable Heather Smith as Administrator of the Government of Ontario, effective June 1, 2007; and
(l) appoints the Honourable Roland Roy McMurtry to be Administrator of the Government of Ontario, to execute the office and functions of the Lieutenant Governor of Ontario during the absence, illness or other inability of the Lieutenant Governor, effective June 1, 2007.
Attendu que l=administrateur du gouvernement de l=Ontario, l=honorable Roland Roy McMurtry, juge en chef de l=Ontario, ne sera pas en mesure de remplir ses fonctions du 5 avril au 9 avril 2007, inclusivement, du 21 avril au 25 avril 2007, inclusivement, et le 31 mai 2007, et qu=il est donc nécessaire que d=autres personnes soient nommées administrateur pour ces jours,
À ces causes, sur recommandation de la ministre du
Patrimoine canadien et en vertu de l=article 67 de la Loi constitutionnelle de 1867, Son Excellence la Gouverneure générale en conseil :
a) met fin à la nomination de l=honorable Roland Roy McMurtry au poste d=administrateur du gouvernement de l=Ontario, avec prise d=effet le 5 avril 2007;
b) nomme l=honorable Dennis R. O=Connor à titre d=administrateur du gouvernement de l=Ontario afin qu=il remplisse les fonctions du lieutenant‑gouverneur de l=Ontario durant l=absence, la maladie ou autre incapacité de ce dernier, avec prise d=effet le 5 avril 2007;
c) met fin à la nomination de l=honorable Dennis R. O=Connor au poste d=administrateur du gouvernement de l=Ontario, avec prise d=effet le 10 avril 2007;
d) nomme l=honorable Roland Roy McMurtry à titre d=administrateur du gouvernement de l=Ontario afin qu=il remplisse les fonctions du lieutenant‑gouverneur de l=Ontario durant l=absence, la maladie ou autre incapacité de ce dernier, avec prise d=effet le 10 avril 2007;
e) met fin à la nomination de l=honorable Roland Roy McMurtry au poste d=administrateur du gouvernement de l=Ontario, avec prise d=effet le 21 avril 2007;
f) nomme l=honorable Dennis R. O=Connor à titre d=administrateur du gouvernement de l=Ontario afin qu=il remplisse les fonctions du lieutenant‑gouverneur de l=Ontario durant l=absence, la maladie ou autre incapacité de ce dernier, avec prise d=effet le 21 avril 2007;
g) met fin à la nomination de l=honorable Dennis R. O=Connor au poste d=administrateur du gouvernement de l=Ontario, avec prise d=effet le 26 avril 2007;
h) nomme l=honorable Roland Roy McMurtry à titre d=administrateur du gouvernement de l=Ontario afin qu=il remplisse les fonctions du lieutenant‑gouverneur de l=Ontario durant l=absence, la maladie ou autre incapacité de ce dernier, avec prise d=effet le 26 avril 2007;
i) met fin à la nomination de l=honorable Roland Roy McMurtry au poste d=administrateur du gouvernement de l=Ontario, avec prise d=effet le 31 mai 2007;
j) nomme l=honorable Heather Smith à titre d=administrateur du gouvernement de l=Ontario afin qu=elle remplisse les fonctions du lieutenant-gouverneur de l=Ontario durant l=absence, la maladie ou autre incapacité de ce dernier, avec prise d=effet le 31 mai 2007;
k) met fin à la nomination de l=honorable Heather Smith au poste d=administrateur du gouvernement de l=Ontario, avec prise d=effet le 1er juin 2007;
l) nomme l=honorable Roland Roy McMurtry à titre d=administrateur du gouvernement de l=Ontario afin qu=il remplisse les fonctions du lieutenant‑gouverneur de l=Ontario durant l=absence, la maladie ou autre incapacité de ce dernier, avec prise d=effet le 1er juin 2007.
