Whereas the Judges whose names are set out in the schedule hereto have requested, with the approval of their respective Chief Justice, that they be granted leave of absence from their judicial duties from September 1, 2007 until March 31, 2008, in order to participate in the National Judicial Study Leave Fellowship Program;

 

Therefore, Her Excellency the Governor General in Council, on the recommendation of the Minister of Justice, pursuant to subsection 54(1) of the Judges Act, hereby approves of leave of absence being granted to those Judges whose names are set out in the schedule hereto from September 1, 2007 until March 31, 2008.

Attendu que les juges dont le nom figure à l’annexe ci‑jointe ont demandé la permission, avec l’autorisation de leur juge en chef respectif, de prendre congé pour la période allant du 1^er septembre 2007 au 31 mars 2008, pour participer au Programme national de bourses universitaires à l’intention des juges,

 

À ces causes, sur recommandation du ministre de la Justice et en vertu du paragraphe 54(1) de la Loi sur les juges, Son Excellence la Gouverneure générale en conseil autorise qu’un congé soit accordé aux juges dont le nom figure à l’annexe ci‑jointe pour la période allant du 1^er septembre 2007 au 31 mars 2008.
