Whereas the Honourable Joseph A. Mullally, a Judge of the Court of Queen’s Bench of Manitoba (Family Division), will attain the age of seventy‑five years on April 7, 2007, and, therefore, will cease to hold office on that date under the provisions of section 99 of the Constitution Act, 1867;

 

And whereas the Honourable Joseph A. Mullally has held judicial office for at least ten years;

 

Therefore, Her Excellency the Governor General in Council, on the recommendation of the Minister of Justice, pursuant to paragraph 42(1)(d) of the Judges Act, hereby grants an annuity of $163,133.33 to the Honourable Joseph A. Mullally, commencing on April 7, 2007 and continuing during his life.

Attendu que l’honorable Joseph A. Mullally, juge de la Cour du Banc de la Reine du Manitoba (Division de la Famille), atteindra l’âge de soixante-quinze ans le 7 avril 2007 et, en conséquence, cessera d’occuper sa charge à cette date en vertu de l’article 99 de la Loi constitutionnelle de 1867;

 

Attendu que l’honorable Joseph A. Mullally a exercé des fonctions judiciaires pendant au moins dix ans,

 

À ces causes, sur recommandation du ministre de la Justice et en vertu de l’alinéa 42(1)d) de la Loi sur les juges, Son Excellence la Gouverneure générale en conseil accorde à l’honorable Joseph A. Mullally, à titre viager, une pension annuelle de 163 133,33 $, à compter du 7 avril 2007.
