Her Excellency the Governor General in Council, on the recommendation of the Minister of the Environment and the Minister of Fisheries and Oceans, pursuant to section 7 of the Department of the Environment Act, section 5 of the Canada Wildlife Act and section 5 of the Department of Fisheries and Oceans Act, hereby approves that the Minister of the Environment and the Minister of Fisheries and Oceans on behalf of Her Majesty in right of Canada, enter into an agreement with the government of the Province of Nova Scotia, substantially in accordance with the annexed draft Agreement, to provide for collaboration by the Province of Nova Scotia in planning for Sable Island and in financially supporting a continuous presence on Sable Island.

et du ministre des Pêches et des Océans et en vertu de l’article 7 de la Loi sur le ministère de l’Environnement, de l’article 5 de la Loi sur les espèces sauvages au Canada et de l’article 5 de la Loi sur le ministère des Pêches et des Océans, Son Excellence la Gouverneure générale en conseil approuve que le ministre de l’Environnement et le ministre des Pêches et des Océans concluent, au nom de Sa Majesté du chef du Canada, un accord avec le gouvernement de la province de la Nouvelle-Écosse, lequel est conforme en substance au projet d’accord ci‑joint et a trait à la collaboration de cette province à la planification pour l’île de Sable et à l’appui financier afin d’assurer une présence continue sur l’île de Sable.
