Her Excellency the Governor General in Council, on the recommendation of the Prime Minister, pursuant to paragraph 127.1(1)(a) of the Public Service Employment Act, hereby appoints Susan Cartwright of Ottawa, Ontario, to be Foreign and Defence Policy Advisor to the Prime Minister and Deputy Secretary to the Cabinet, Privy Council Office, to hold office during pleasure, and fixes her salary as set out in the schedule hereto, which salary is within the range ($170,000 - $200,000), effective February 19, 2007.

Sur recommandation du premier ministre et en vertu de l’alinéa 127.1(1)a) de la Loi sur l’emploi dans la fonction publique, Son Excellence la Gouverneure générale en conseil nomme Susan Cartwright, d’Ottawa (Ontario), au poste de conseiller de la politique étrangère et de la défense auprès du premier ministre et sous‑secrétaire du Cabinet, Bureau du Conseil privé, à titre amovible, et fixe son traitement conformément à l'annexe ci-jointe, lequel traitement se situe dans l'échelle (170 000 $ - 200 000 $), à compter du 19 février 2007.
