Her Excellency the Governor General in Council, on the recommendation of the Prime Minister, pursuant to paragraph 127.1(1)(a) of the Public Service Employment Act, hereby appoints Simon Kennedy of Ottawa, Ontario, to be Deputy Secretary to the Cabinet (Operations), Privy Council Office, to hold office during pleasure, and fixes his salary and other employment conditions as set out in the schedule hereto, which salary is within the range ($170,000 - $200,000), effective March 5,  2007.

Sur recommandation du premier ministre et en vertu de l’alinéa 127.1(1)a) de la Loi sur l’emploi dans la fonction publique, Son Excellence la Gouverneure générale en conseil nomme Simon Kennedy, d’Ottawa (Ontario), au poste de sous‑secrétaire du Cabinet (Opérations), Bureau du Conseil privé, à titre amovible, et fixe son traitement et autres conditions d’emploi conformément à l'annexe ci-jointe, lequel traitement se situe dans l'échelle (170 000 $ - 200 000 $), à compter du 5 mars 2007.
