Her Excellency the Governor General in Council, on the recommendation of the Minister of Transport, hereby:

 

(a)      pursuant to sections 7 and 8 of the Canada Transportation Act, appoints Geoffrey C. Hare of Etobicoke, Ontario, to be a member of the Canadian Transportation Agency to hold office during good behaviour for a term of five years;

 

(b)      pursuant to subsection 7(3) of the Canada Transportation Act, designates Geoffrey C. Hare as Chairperson of the Canadian Transportation Agency; and

 

(c)       pursuant to section 11 of the Canada Transportation Act, fixes his remuneration and other employment conditions as set out in the attached schedule, which remuneration is within the range GCQ 9 ($219,600 ‑ $258,300);

 

effective February 12, 2007.

Sur recommandation du ministre des Transports,  Son Excellence la Gouverneure générale en conseil :

 

a)        en vertu des articles 7 et 8 de la Loi sur les transports au Canada, nomme Geoffrey C. Hare, d’Etobicoke (Ontario), membre de l’Office des transports du Canada à titre inamovible pour un mandat de cinq ans;

 

b)        en vertu du paragraphe 7(3) de la Loi sur les transports au Canada, choisit Geoffrey C. Hare comme président de l’Office des transports du Canada;

 

c)        en vertu de l’article 11 de la Loi sur les transports au Canada, fixe sa rémunération et autres conditions d’emploi conformément à l’annexe ci‑jointe, laquelle rémunération se situe dans l’échelle GCQ 9 (219 600 $ ‑ 258 300 $);

 

à compter du 12 février 2007.
