Her Excellency the Governor General in Council, on the recommendation of the Prime Minister, pursuant to paragraphs 127.1(1)(a) and 127.1(1)(b) and subsection 127.1(1) of the Public Service Employment Act, hereby:

 

(a)       appoints Peter Harrison of Ottawa, Ontario, to be Senior Associate Deputy Minister of Indian Affairs and Northern Development, to hold office during pleasure;

 

(b)       appoints Peter Harrison to serve concurrently as Executive Director and Deputy Head of the Office of Indian Residential Schools Resolution of Canada, to hold office during pleasure; and

 

(c)        fixes his salary as set out in the schedule hereto, which salary is within the range ($195,500 - $230,000);

 

effective January 22, 2007.

Sur recommandation du premier ministre et en vertu des alinéas 127.1(1)a) et 127(1)b) et du paragraphe 127.1(1) de la Loi sur l’emploi dans la fonction publique, Son Excellence la Gouverneure générale en conseil :

 

a)         nomme Peter Harrison, d’Ottawa (Ontario), au poste de sous-ministre délégué principal des Affaires indiennes et du Nord canadien, à titre amovible;

 

b)         nomme Peter Harrison concurrement au poste de directeur exécutif et administrateur général du Bureau du Canada sur le règlement des questions des pensionnats autochtones, à titre amovible;

 

c)         fixe son traitement conformément à l'annexe ci-jointe, lequel traitement se situe dans l'échelle (195 500 $ ‑ 230 000 $);

 

à compter du 22 janvier 2007.
