Her Excellency the Governor General in Council, on the recommendation of the Prime Minister, pursuant to paragraph 2(a) of the Public Service Rearrangement and Transfer of Duties Act, hereby transfers from the President of the Treasury Board to the Minister of the Environment the powers, duties and functions relating to the Contribution Agreement, entered into on July 18, 2001, between Her Majesty in right of Canada, Her Majesty in right of Ontario, the City of Toronto and the Toronto Waterfront Revitalization Corporation, which Agreement was authorized by Order in Council P.C. 2001‑767 of April 27, 2001, effective January 4, 2007.

Sur recommandation du premier ministre et en vertu de l’alinéa 2a) de la Loi sur les restructurations et les transferts d’attributions dans l’administration publique, Son Excellence la Gouverneure générale en conseil transfère du président du Conseil du Trésor au ministre de l’Environnement les attributions relatives à_ l’Accord de contribution conclu le 18 juillet 2001 entre Sa Majesté du chef du Canada, Sa Majesté du chef de l’Ontario, la ville de Toronto et la Société de revitalisation du secteur riverain de Toronto, lequel accord a été autorisé par le décret C.P. 2001‑767 du 27 avril 2001. Cette mesure prend effet le 4 janvier 2007.
