Whereas article 45(b) of the Articles of Association of Edmonton Northlands provides for the designation by the Government of Canada of two persons as Directors of the Company known as Edmonton Northlands;

 

And whereas article 74(a) of the Articles of Association of Edmonton Northlands provides that any one of the Directors designated by the Government of Canada shall also be a Member of the Executive Committee of Edmonton Northlands;

 

Therefore, Her Excellency the Governor General in Council, on the recommendation of the Minister of Industry, hereby:

 

(a)      designates Ian McClelland of Edmonton, Alberta, as a Director of Edmonton Northlands to hold office during pleasure for a term of three years; and

 

(b)      designates Ian McClelland as a Member of the Executive Committee of Edmonton Northlands to hold office during pleasure for a term of three years.

Attendu que l’article 45(b) des « Articles of Association of Edmonton Northlands » prévoit que le gouvernement du Canada peut désigner deux personnes à titre d’administrateurs de la société Edmonton Northlands,

 

Attendu que l’article 74(a) des « Articles of Association of Edmonton Northlands » prévoit qu’un des administrateurs désigné par le gouvernement du Canada sera aussi membre du comité exécutif de la société Edmonton Northlands,

 

À ces causes, sur recommandation du ministre de l’Industrie, Son Excellence la Gouverneure générale en conseil :

 

a)        désigne Ian McClelland, d’Edmonton (Alberta), administrateur de la société Edmonton Northlands, à titre amovible, pour un mandat de trois ans;

 

b)        désigne Ian McClelland, membre du comité exécutif de la société Edmonton Northlands, à titre amovible, pour un mandat de trois ans.
