Her Excellency the Governor General in Council, on the recommendation of the Minister of Canadian Heritage, after consultation with the Board of Directors of the Canadian Race Relations Foundation, pursuant to sections 9 and 11 of the Canadian Race Relations Foundation Act, appoints Ayman Al‑Yassini of Ville Saint‑Laurent, Quebec, to be Executive Director of the Canadian Race Relations Foundation to hold office during pleasure for a term of two years, and fixes his salary at the rate set out in the annexed schedule, which salary is within the range GRP 1 ($109,800 ‑ $129,200), effective September 18, 2006.
