        Her Excellency the Governor General in Council, on the recommendation of the Solicitor General of Canada and the Treasury Board, pursuant to subsection 16(1) of the Corrections and Conditional Release Act, hereby approves the Solicitor General of Canada entering into, on behalf of the Government of Canada, an agreement amending the 1998 Exchange of Services Agreement with the Government of the Province of New Brunswick, substantially in accordance with the annexed draft agreement, providing for the extension of the agreement for a one-year period and the increase of the per offender per diem rate.

                  Sur recommandation du solliciteur général du Canada et du Conseil du Trésor et en vertu du paragraphe 16(1) de la Loi sur le système correctionnel et la mise en liberté sous condition, Son Excellence la Gouverneure générale en conseil agrée que le solliciteur général du Canada conclue, au nom du gouvernement du Canada, un accord avec le gouvernement de la province du Nouveau-Brunswick, lequel est conforme en substance au projet d’accord ci-joint, modifiant l’Accord d’échange de services de 1998 en vue de le prolonger d’un an et d’augmenter les frais d’hébergement quotidiens par délinquant.
