Her Excellency the Governor General in Council, on the recommendation of the President of the Queen’s Privy Council for Canada, hereby

 

(a) amends Order in Council P.C. 2006‑701 of June 30, 2006, by replacing the words “for a term of six months” with the words “for a term ending August 20, 2009”;

 

(b) pursuant to subsection 5(1) of the Canadian Transportation Accident Investigation and Safety Board Act, designates Wendy Anne Tadros, of Ottawa, Ontario, a full‑time member of the Canadian Transportation Accident Investigation and Safety Board, to be the Chairperson of the Board; and

 

(c) pursuant to subsection 4(6) of the Canadian Transportation Accident Investigation and Safety Board Act, fixes her salary at the rate set out in the schedule hereto, which salary is within the range GCQ 6 ($144,300 ‑ $169,800).

Sur recommandation du président du Conseil privé de la Reine pour le Canada Son Excellence la Gouverneure générale en conseil :

 

a) modifie le décret C.P. 2006‑701 du 30 juin 2006 en remplaçant les mots « pour une période de six mois » par les mots « pour un mandat se terminant le 20 août 2009 »;

 

b) en vertu du paragraphe 5(1) de la Loi sur le Bureau canadien d’enquête sur les accidents de transport et de la sécurité des transports, choisit Wendy Anne Tadros, d’Ottawa (Ontario), membre à temps plein du Bureau canadien d’enquête sur les accidents de transport et de la sécurité des transports, comme président du Bureau;

 

c) en vertu du paragraphe 4(6) de la Loi sur le Bureau canadien d’enquête sur les accidents de transport et de la sécurité des transports, fixe son traitement au taux figurant à l’annexe ci‑jointe, lequel traitement se situe dans l’échelle GCQ 6 (144 300 $ ‑ 169 800 $).
