Attendu que l'honorable Cecilia I. Johnstone est décédée le 15 avril 2006, alors qu'elle occupait le poste de juge de la Cour du Banc de la Reine de l’Alberta,

 

À ces causes, sur recommandation du ministre de la Justice et en vertu de l'article 44 de la Loi sur les juges, Son Excellence la Gouverneure générale en conseil accorde une pension viagère de 77 033,33 $ à monsieur John R. Day, veuf de ladite Cecilia I. Johnstone, à compter du 16 avril 2006.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Whereas the Honourable Cecilia I. Johnstone, a Judge of the Court of Queen’s Bench of Alberta, died on April 15, 2006, while holding such office;

 

Therefore, Her Excellency the Governor General in Council, on the recommendation of the Minister of Justice, pursuant to section 44 of the Judges Act, hereby grants an annuity of $77,033.33 to Mr. John R. Day, widower of the said Cecilia I. Johnstone, to commence on April 16, 2006, and to continue thenceforth during his life.
