Attendu que l'honorable Anne H. Russell, juge de la Cour d’appel de l’Alberta, ayant atteint lâge de cinquante-cinq ans, ayant au moins dix ans dancienneté dans la magistrature et ayant choisi une retraite anticipée avec une pension immédiate, a donné sa démission, laquelle prend effet le 1er mai 2006,
À ces causes, sur recommandation du ministre de la Justice, Son Excellence la Gouverneure générale en conseil:
(a) accepte la démission de l'honorable
Anne H. Russell;
(b) en vertu de l'alinéa 43.1(1) de la Loi
sur les juges, lui accorde à titre viager une pension de 137 632.89$ par an, payable à compter du 1er mai 2006.
Whereas the Honourable Anne H. Russell, a Judge of the Court of Appeal of Alberta, who has attained the age of fifty-five years, who has continued in judicial office for at least ten years and who has elected early retirement with an immediate annuity, has tendered her resignation effective May 1, 2006.
Therefore, Her Excellency the Governor General in Council, on the recommendation of the Minister of Justice, hereby:
(a) accepts the resignation of the Honourable Anne H. Russell and
(b) pursuant to paragraph 43.1(1) of the Judges Act, hereby grants her an annuity of 137,632.89$, commencing on May 1, 2006, and continuing thenceforth during her life.
