Her Excellency the Governor General in Council, considering that the collection of the tax is unjust, on the recommendation of the Minister of National Revenue, pursuant to subsection 23(2) of the Financial Administration Act, hereby remits tax under Part I of the Income Tax Act in the amount of $9,432 for the 1983 taxation year, and all relevant interest and penalties thereon, paid or payable by Violet Meikle.

Sur recommandation de la ministre du Revenu national et en vertu du paragraphe 23(2) de la Loi sur la gestion des finances publiques, Son Excellence la Gouverneure générale en conseil fait remise du montant de 9 432 $ pour l’année d’imposition 1983, payé ou payable par Violet Meikle au titre de l’impôt exigible en vertu de la partie I de la Loi de l’impôt sur le revenu, ainsi que des intérêts et pénalités y afférents, estimant que la perception de ces montants est injuste.
