Whereas the Minister of Transport has consulted with the members of the Laurentian Pilotage Authority and with the users of its services, with respect to the appointment of a Chairman, to serve part‑time, pursuant to subsection 3(2) of the Pilotage Act;

 

Therefore, Her Excellency the Governor General in Council, on the recommendation of the Minister of Transport, pursuant to section 3 of the Pilotage Act, hereby appoints Michel Beauregard of Carignan, Quebec, as part‑time Chairman of the Laurentian Pilotage Authority to hold office during pleasure for a term of three years, and fixes his remuneration as set out in the annexed schedule, which remuneration is comprised of a per diem within the range ($220 ‑ $260) and an annual retainer within the range ($5,700 ‑ $6,700). 

    

Attendu que le ministre des Transports a consulté les membres de l’Administration de pilotage des Laurentides et les utilisateurs de ses services concernant la nomination du président du conseil, à temps partiel, en vertu du paragraphe 3(2) de la Loi sur le pilotage,

 

À ces causes, sur recommandation du ministre des Transports et en vertu de l’article 3 de la Loi sur le pilotage, Son Excellence la Gouverneure générale en conseil nomme Michel Beauregard, de Carignan (Québec), président du conseil à temps partiel de l’Administration de pilotage des Laurentides, à titre amovible, pour un mandat de trois ans, et fixe sa rémunération conformément à l’annexe ci‑jointe, laquelle rémunération est composée d’un taux journalier dans l’échelle (220 $ ‑ 260 $) et d’honoraires annuels dans l’échelle (5 700 $ ‑ 6 700 $).
