Her Excellency the Governor General in Council, considering that the collection of the amount is unjust, on the recommendation of the Minister of National Revenue and the Treasury Board, pursuant to subsection 23(2.1) of the Financial Administration Act, hereby remits interest charged under Part I of the Income Tax Act in the amount of $4,382.01 as of April 5, 2004, and all interest on that interest, paid or payable by Jerry Mathews.

Sur recommandation de la ministre du Revenu national et du Conseil du Trésor et en vertu du paragraphe 23(2.1) de la Loi sur la gestion des finances publiques, Son Excellence la Gouverneure générale en conseil, estimant injuste la perception de la somme au titre de l’intérêt exigé aux termes de la partie I de la Loi de l’impôt sur le revenu, fait remise à Jerry Mathews du montant de 4 382,01 $, au 5 avril 2004, ainsi que tous les intérêts qui s’y rapportent, payés ou à payer par lui.
