Her Excellency the Governor General in Council, on the recommendation of the Minister of Public Safety and Emergency Preparedness, pursuant to sections 103, 104 and 153 of the Corrections and Conditional Release Act, hereby

 

(a)  appoints Mario Dion of Ottawa, Ontario, to be a full-time member of the National Parole Board, to hold office during good behaviour for a period of three years;

 

(b)  designates Mario Dion to be the Chairperson of the National Parole Board; and

 

(c)  fixes his remuneration at the rate set out in the annexed schedule, which remuneration is within the range  ($216,700 - $254,900);

 

effective May 29, 2006.

Sur recommandation du ministre de la Sécurité publique et de la Protection civile et en vertu des articles 103, 104 et 153 de la Loi sur le système correctionnel et la mise en liberté sous condition, Son Excellence la Gouverneure générale en conseil

 

a)    nomme Mario Dion, d’Ottawa (Ontario), membre à temps plein de la Commission nationale des libérations conditionnelles, à titre inamovible pour un mandat de trois ans;

 

b)    désigne Mario Dion au poste de président de la Commission nationale des libérations conditionnelles;

 

c)    fixe sa rémunération au taux spécifié à l’annexe ci‑jointe, lequel traitement se situe dans l’échelle (216 700 $ - 254 900$),

 

à compter du 29 mai 2006.
