Her Excellency the Governor General in Council, on the recommendation of the Prime Minister, pursuant to the Special Appointment Regulations, No. 2006-10, hereby appoints

Samy Watson of Ottawa, Ontario, to the position of Special Advisor to the Privy Council Office, to hold office during pleasure, and fixes his salary at the rate set out in the annexed schedule, which salary is within the range ($190,600 ‑ $224,300), effective May 23, 2006.
