Her Excellency the Governor General in Council, on the recommendation of the Minister of Industry, pursuant to section 3 of An Act to amend the Telecommunications Act, assented to on November 25, 2005, being chapter 50 of the Statutes of Canada, 2005, hereby fixes June 30, 2006 as the day on which that Act comes into force.
