Her Excellency the Governor General in Council, on the recommendation of the Minister of Finance, pursuant to section 453 of An Act to amend certain Acts in relation to financial institutions, assented to on November 25, 2005, being chapter 54 of the Statutes of Canada, 2005, hereby fixes April 27, 2006 as the day on which the definition of “minor” in subsection 1(2), sections 4 to 10, subsection 14(2), sections 15, 33 to 35 and 42 to 49, 52, 70, 74 to 81 and 83 to 88, 101, 104 to 106 and 113 to 119, 122, 127, 132 to 137 and 139, subsection 140(2), sections 143 to 148, subsection 152(2), sections 153, 172, 179 to 186, 189 and 200 to 210, the definition of “minor” in subsection 214(2), sections 218 to 222, 226, 227, 246 to 249 and 256 to 264, 267, 285, 289 to 295, 298 to 301, 304 to 309, 328 to 330, 337 to 343, 346, 347, 352 and 357 to 366, the definition of “minor” in subsection 368(2), sections 371 to 375, subsection 379(2), sections 380, 398 to 400, 407 to 414, 417, 435 and 439 to 451 of that Act come into force.
