Her Excellency the Governor General in Council, on the recommendation of the Prime Minister, pursuant to section 125  of the Public Service Employment Act, hereby appoints

Kevin G. Lynch of Ottawa, Ontario, to be Clerk of the Privy Council and Secretary to the Cabinet, to hold office during pleasure, and fixes his salary at the rate set out in the schedule hereto, which salary is within the range ($239,100 - $281,300), effective March 6, 2006.
