Her Excellency the Governor General in Council, on the recommendation of the Prime Minister, pursuant to the

Special Appointment Regulations, No. 2006-3, hereby appoints Alexander Himelfarb of Ottawa, Ontario, to be Special Advisor to the Prime Minister, to hold office during pleasure, and fixes his salary and other employment conditions as set out in the schedule hereto, which salary is within the range ($239,100 - $281,300), effective March 6, 2006.
