The Committee of the Privy Council, on the recommendation of the Prime Minister, advise that, pursuant to subsections 75(1) and 76(1) of the Parliament of Canada Act, a commission under the Great Seal of Canada do issue appointing William Robert Young, of the City of Ottawa, in the Province of Ontario, to be Parliamentary Librarian to hold office during pleasure for a term of five years, and fixes his salary and employment conditions as set out in the attached schedule, which salary is within the range GC 6 ($130,100 ‑ $153,000). 

Sur recommandation du premier ministre, le Comité du Conseil privé recommande que, en vertu des paragraphes 75(1) et 76(1) de la Loi sur le Parlement du Canada, une commission, sous le grand sceau du Canada soit émise nommant William Robert Young, de la ville d’Ottawa, dans la province de l’Ontario, en qualité de bibliothécaire parlementaire, à titre amovible, pour un mandat de cinq ans, et fixe son traitement et autres conditions d’emploi conformément à l’annexe ci‑jointe, lequel traitement se situe dans l’échelle GC 6 (130 100 $ ‑ 153 000 $).
