Whereas the Honourable F. Hugh Poulin, a Judge of the Superior Court of Justice (Ontario), will attain the age of seventy-five years on February 9, 2006, and, therefore, will cease to hold office on that date under the provisions of section 99 of the Constitution Act, 1867;

And whereas the Honourable F. Hugh Poulin has held judicial office for at least ten years;

Therefore, Her Excellency the Governor General in Council, on the recommendation of the Minister of Justice, pursuant to paragraph 42(1)(d) of the Judges Act, hereby grants an annuity of $149,466.66 to the Honourable F. Hugh Poulin, commencing on February 9, 2006 and continuing during his life.

Attendu que l’honorable F. Hugh Poulin, juge de la Cour supérieure de justice (Ontario), atteindra l’âge de soixante-quinze ans le 9 février 2006 et, en conséquence, cessera d’occuper son poste à cette date en vertu de l’article 99 de la Loi constitutionnelle de 1867;

Attendu que l’honorable F. Hugh Poulin a exercé des fonctions judiciaires pendant au moins dix ans,

À ces causes, sur recommandation du ministre de la Justice et en vertu de l’alinéa 42(1)d) de la Loi sur les juges, Son Excellence la Gouverneure générale en conseil accorde à l’honorable F. Hugh Poulin, à titre viager, une pension annuelle de 149 466,66 $, à compter du 9 février 2006.
