Whereas the Judges whose names are set out in the annexed schedule have requested, with the approval of their respective Chief Justice, that they be granted leave of absence from their judicial duties, from September 1, 2006 until March 31, 2007, in order to participate in the National Judicial Study Leave Fellowship Program;

Therefore, Her Excellency the Governor General in Council, on the recommendation of the Minister of Justice, pursuant to paragraph 54(1)(b) of the Judges Act, hereby approves of leave of absence being granted to the Judges whose names are set out in the annexed schedule, from September 1, 2006 until March 31, 2007.

À ces causes, sur recommandation du ministre de la Justice et en vertu de l’alinéa 54(1)b) de la Loi sur les juges, Son Excellence la Gouverneure générale en conseil approuve, que l’autorisation de s’absenter soit accordée aux juges dont le nom figure à l’annexe ci‑jointe, pour la période allant du 1^er septembre 2006 au 31 mars 2007.
