Attendu que l’honorable Joanne B. Veit, a demandé, avec l'approbation du juge en chef de la Cour du Banc de la Reine de l’Alberta, la permission de s'absenter pour la période allant du 1^er septembre 2005 au 31 mars 2006, pour participer au Programme national de bourses universitaires à l'intention des juges,

 

À ces causes, sur recommandation du ministre de la Justice et en vertu de l’alinéa 54(1)b) de la Loi sur les juges, Son Excellence la Gouverneure générale en conseil approuve que l’autorisation de s'absenter soit accordée à l’honorable Joanne B. Veit, pour la période allant du 1^er septembre 2005 au 31 mars 2006.

Whereas the Honourable Joanne B. Veit, has requested, with the approval of the Chief Justice of the Court of Queen’s Bench of Alberta, that she be granted leave of absence from her judicial duties from September 1, 2005 until March 31, 2006, in order to participate in the National Judicial Study Leave Fellowship Program;

 

Therefore, Her Excellency the Governor General in Council, on the recommendation of the Minister of Justice and pursuant to paragraph 54(1)(b) of the Judges Act, hereby approves of leave of absence being granted to the Honourable Joanne B. Veit from September 1, 2005 until March 31, 2006.
