Her Excellency the Governor General in Council, on the recommendation of the Minister of the Environment, pursuant to section 8 of the Heritage Railway Stations Protection Act, hereby authorizes VIA Rail Canada Inc. to carry out work at its station in Port Hope, Ontario, in the manner described in the annexed schedule.

et en vertu de l’article 8 de la Loi sur la protection des gares ferroviaires patrimoniales, Son Excellence la Gouverneure générale en conseil autorise VIA Rail Canada Inc. à procéder à des travaux à sa gare de Port Hope, en Ontario, conformément à l’annexe ci‑jointe.
SCHEDULE
VIA Rail Canada Inc. is authorized to carry out the following work at its railway station in Port Hope, Ontario:
– remove and relay displaced stones;
– remove and install new stones where required; and
– repair the footings and parging of the operator’s bay.
The work must be completed in accordance with the recommendations contained in the Review of Alterations Reports prepared by Parks Canada for this project.
ANNEXE
VIA Rail Canada Inc. est autorisée à effectuer les travaux suivants à sa gare située à Port Hope, en Ontario :
– enlever et replacer correctement les pierres déplacées;
– enlever et remplacer des pierres là où ce sera nécessaire;
– réparer la semelle et le crépi de la cabine du chef de gare.
Les travaux devront être réalisés en accord avec les recommandations contenues dans les rapports d’examen de modification préparés par Parcs Canada pour ce projet.
