                     Whereas the Honourable Hugh J. MacPherson, a Judge of the County Court of District Number Six in the Province of Nova Scotia, attained the age of seventy-five years on March 6, 1991, retired on that date and was granted an annuity of $90,266.66 by Order in Council P.C. 1991-449 of March 7, 1991;

                     And whereas the Honourable Hugh J. MacPherson died on May 21, 2005 and is survived by a widow, Jean MacPherson;

                     Therefore, Her Excellency the Governor General in Council, on the recommendation of the Minister of Justice, pursuant to section 44 of the Judges Act, hereby grants an annuity of $45,133.33 to Jean MacPherson, commencing on May 22, 2005 and continuing during her life.

                     Attendu que l’honorable Hugh J. MacPherson, juge de la Cour de comté du District Numéro Six (Nouvelle-Écosse), a atteint l’âge de soixante-quinze ans le 6 mars 1991, qu’il a pris sa retraite le même jour et qu’une pension de 90 266,66 $ lui a été accordée par le décret C.P. 1991-449 du 7 mars 1991;

                     Attendu que l’honorable Hugh J. MacPherson est décédé le 21 mai 2005 et que sa veuve, Jean MacPherson, lui survit,

                     À ces causes, sur recommandation du ministre de la Justice et en vertu de l’article 44 de la Loi sur les juges, Son Excellence la Gouverneure générale en conseil accorde une pension viagère de 45 133,33 $ à Jean MacPherson, à compter du 22 mai 2005.
