                     Whereas the Administrator of the Government of Saskatchewan, the Honourable Edward D. Bayda, Chief Justice of Saskatchewan, will be unable to act on October 27 and October 28, 2005, and on November 19 and November 20, 2005, and it is therefore expedient that another person be appointed Administrator for those days;

                     Therefore, Her Excellency the Governor General in Council, on the recommendation of the Minister of Canadian Heritage, pursuant to section 67 of the Constitution Act, 1867, hereby:

(a) terminates the appointment of the Honourable Edward D. Bayda as Administrator of the Government of Saskatchewan, effective October 27, 2005;

(b) appoints the Honourable William Frank Gerein to be Administrator of the Government of Saskatchewan, to execute the office and functions of the Lieutenant Governor of Saskatchewan during the absence, illness or other inability of the Lieutenant Governor, effective October 27, 2005;

(c) terminates the appointment of the Honourable  William Frank Gerein as Administrator, effective October 29, 2005;

(d) appoints the Edward D. Bayda to be Administrator of the Government of Saskatchewan, to execute the office and functions of the Lieutenant Governor of Saskatchewan during the absence, illness or other inability of the Lieutenant Governor, effective October 29, 2005;

(e) terminates the appointment of the Honourable Edward D. Bayda as Administrator, effective November 19, 2005;

(f) appoints the Honourable William Frank Gerein to be Administrator of the Government of Saskatchewan, to execute the office and functions of the Lieutenant Governor of Saskatchewan during the absence, illness or other inability of the Lieutenant Governor, effective November 19, 2005;

(g) terminates the appointment of the Honourable William Frank Gerein as Administrator, effective November 21, 2005; and

(h) appoints the Honourable Edward D. Bayda to be Administrator of the Government of Saskatchewan, to execute the office and functions of the Lieutenant Governor of Saskatchewan during the absence, illness or other inability of the Lieutenant Governor, effective November 21, 2005.

                     Attendu que l’administrateur du gouvernement de la Saskatchewan, l’honorable Edward D. Bayda, juge en chef de la Saskatchewan, ne sera pas en mesure de remplir ses fonctions les 27 et 28 octobre 2005 et les 19 et 20 novembre 2005, et qu’il est donc nécessaire qu’une autre personne soit nommée administrateur pour ces jours,

                     À ces causes, sur recommandation de la ministre du

Patrimoine canadien et en vertu de l’article 67 de la Loi constitutionnelle de 1867, Son Excellence la Gouverneure générale en conseil :

a) met fin à la nomination de l’honorable Edward D. Bayda au poste d’administrateur du gouvernement de la Saskatchewan, avec prise d’effet le 27 octobre 2005;

b) nomme l’honorable William Frank Gerein à titre d’administrateur du gouvernement de la Saskatchewan pour qu’il remplisse les fonctions de lieutenant-gouverneur de la Saskatchewan durant l’absence, la maladie ou autre incapacité du lieutenant-gouverneur, avec prise d’effet le 27 octobre 2005;

c) met fin à la nomination de l’honorable William Frank Gerein au poste d’administrateur, avec prise d’effet le 29 octobre 2005;

d) nomme l’honorable Edward D. Bayda à titre d’administrateur du gouvernement de la Saskatchewan pour qu’il remplisse les fonctions de lieutenant-gouverneur de la Saskatchewan durant l’absence, la maladie ou autre incapacité du lieutenant-gouverneur, avec prise d’effet le 29 octobre 2005;

e) met fin à la nomination de l’honorable Edward D. Bayda au poste d’administrateur, avec prise d’effet le 19 novembre 2005;

f) nomme l’honorable William Frank Gerein à titre d’administrateur du gouvernement de la Saskatchewan pour qu’il remplisse les fonctions de lieutenant-gouverneur de la Saskatchewan durant l’absence, la maladie ou autre incapacité du lieutenant-gouverneur, avec prise d’effet le 19 novembre 2005;

g) met fin à la nomination de l’honorable William Frank Gerein au poste d’administrateur, avec prise d’effet le 21 novembre 2005;

h) nomme l’honorable Edward D. Bayda à titre d’administrateur du gouvernement de la Saskatchewan pour qu’il remplisse les fonctions de lieutenant-gouverneur de la Saskatchewan durant l’absence, la maladie ou autre incapacité du lieutenant-gouverneur, avec prise d’effet le 21 novembre 2005.
