                     Her Excellency the Governor General in Council, on the recommendation of the Minister of Health, pursuant to Order in Council P.C. 1999-161 of February 4, 1999, hereby appoints

Verdon Mercer of Upper Island Cove, Newfoundland and Labrador, to be a member of the National Advisory Council on Aging, to hold office during pleasure for a term of three years.

                     Sur recommandation du ministre de la Santé et en vertu du décret C.P. 1999-161 du 4 février 1999, Son Excellence la Gouverneure générale en conseil nomme Verdon Mercer, de Upper Island Cove (Terre-Neuve-et-Labrador), membre du Conseil consultatif national sur le troisième âge, à titre amovible, pour un mandat de trois ans.
