                      Her Excellency the Governor General in Council,

on the recommendation of the Minister of the Environment, pursuant to section 5 of the Canada Water Act and section 7 of the Department of the Environment Act, hereby authorizes the Minister of the Environment to enter, on behalf of the Government of Canada, into an amending agreement with the Government of the Province of Manitoba to amend the Canada – Manitoba Agreement for Construction of the Greater Winnipeg Floodway (1962), substantially in accordance with the draft amending agreement annexed hereto.

                      Sur recommandation du ministre de l’Environnement

et en vertu de l’article 5 de la Loi sur les ressources en eau du Canada et de l’article 7 de la Loi sur le ministère de l’Environnement, Son Excellence la Gouverneure générale en conseil autorise le ministre de l’Environnement à conclure, au nom du gouvernement du Canada, avec le gouvernement de la province du Manitoba, une entente visant à modifier l’entente intitulée Canada – Manitoba Agreement for Construction of the Greater Winnipeg Floodway (1962), laquelle entente modificatrice est conforme en substance au projet d’entente modificatrice ci-joint.
