                    Her Excellency the Governor General in Council, on the recommendation of the Minister of Industry, pursuant to subsection 6(1) of the Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council Act, hereby approves the election by the Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council of Stan Shapson of Willowdale, Ontario, a member of the Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council, as Vice-President of the said Council.

                    Sur recommandation du ministre de l’Industrie et en vertu du paragraphe 6(1) de la Loi sur le Conseil de recherches en sciences humaines, Son Excellence la Gouverneure générale en conseil approuve l’élection par le Conseil de recherches en sciences humaines de Stan Shapson, de Willowdale (Ontario), conseiller du Conseil de recherches en sciences humaines, comme vice-président dudit Conseil.
