                      Her Excellency the Governor General in Council, on the recommendation of the Minister of Labour, hereby:

           (a)      pursuant to paragraph 9(2)(b) and subsections 10(1) and 12(1) of the Canada Labour Code, reappoints Douglas G. Ruck, Q.C., of Ottawa, Ontario, to be a full-time Vice-Chairperson of the Canada Industrial Relations Board, to hold office during good behaviour for a term of three years;

           (b)      pursuant to section 12.04 of the Canada Labour Code, fixes his remuneration as set out in the annexed schedule, which salary is within the range GCQ 6 ($139,500 - $164,100); and

           (c)      pursuant to section 117 of the Canada Labour Code, orders that Douglas G. Ruck be deemed to be employed in the Public Service for the purposes of the Public Service Superannuation Act;

effective June 25, 2005.

                      Sur recommandation du ministre du Travail, Son Excellence la Gouverneure générale en conseil :

           a)       en vertu de l’alinéa 9(2)b) et des paragraphes 10(1) et 12(1) du Code canadien du travail, renouvelle le mandat de Douglas G. Ruck, c.r., d’Ottawa (Ontario), vice-président à temps plein du Conseil canadien des relations industrielles, à titre inamovible pour une période de trois ans;

           b)       en vertu de l’article 12.04 du Code canadien du travail, fixe sa rémunération conformément à l’annexe ci-jointe, lequel traitement se situe dans l’échelle GCQ 6 (139 500 $ - 164 100 $);

           c)       en vertu de l’article 117 du Code canadien du travail, ordonne que Douglas G. Ruck soit réputé faire partie de la fonction publique pour l’application de la Loi sur la pension de la fonction publique;

à compter du 25 juin 2005.
